No, the term is retard, everyone knows what it means. Yes there are different levels and what not but changing the name does not change the condition. Maybe if we change the name, it will somehow reduce the condition. BULL!!!!
I dont give a rat's ass who is offended by the term retard, certainly not the people who suffer the condition. It's too hard to say, they are probably more offended that they have to learn a harder term.

Since when did comedians become the basis for how we deal with things as a society? I am already rephrasing Ralphie May by talking about being offended and George Carlin by asking about changing the term so that it somehow takes away from the actual condition.
